The process of submitting a successful paper includes two steps:

1. First Abstract
Register and submit to https://www.conftool.com/sbe16hamburg/ your first paper abstract by 30th May 2015.

The abstract (engl.) must include:
– the title of your paper
– a suggestion as to which theme from 1-6 your contribution should be assigned
– up to five keywords
– a paper description of no more than 1,500 characters (including spaces)
– an indication of whether your prefer a poster presentation

2. Full Paper and Extended Abstract
If your abstract is accepted (you will get the notification by 15th July 2015), please submit your full paper and a 3-page extended abstract by 15th October 2015, using the online template, which can be found on the aforementioned website.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
All contributions will be put through a double blind peer review process by the Scientific Committee, who will decide whether your presentation will be oral or poster.
As a presenter (whether poster or oral) you will need to register for the conference. The registration deadline for presenters is 31th January 2016.

Timeline for abstract and paper submission
– Call for papers opening: 15th January 2015
– Deadline for abstract submission: 30th May 2015
– First review round, review of submitted abstracts, selection by the Scientific Committee: 1st June – 14th July 2015
– Acceptance notification: 15th July 2015
– Deadline for full papers and extended abstracts submission: 15th October 2015
– Second review round, review of the Full Papers and selection by the Scientific Committee: 16th October – 30th November 2015
– Notification for revision based on reviewers’ comments: 1st December 2015
– Deadline for implementation of reviewers’ comments: 15th December 2015
– Invitation (Poster/Oral): 15th December 2015
